Spring Break!
Well, I am going to Treasure Island beach in Tampa Bay, Florida in March during spring break. Still not sure of the dates of the Hard Rock Cafe Florida job, but I am loving all this trip action! Yippee! A little group of us are getting some cheap rooms in a po dunky joint...but it's on the beach! I'm so excited! Though we are driving there....so that's a little icky, but I'm trying to convince my parents to let us take their minivan so we can all fit in one car at least. We'll have 6 drivers though, so that should make it easier. And it should end up being a pretty cheap trip, which is always nice. I'm trying to figure out a way to get at least a smidge of sun presence on this pasty white body of mine...... If I don't.... which is most likely seeing as how the only way I could get some sun is in a tanning bed, and that will never happen (I guess I could try the fake bake layering lotion stuff but the last time I did that, I got a huge patch of hives on my arm. I don't know if it was from that or the other hive inducing things goin' down in my life at the time....but still! How straight up nasty would it be to have hives and pastiness on the beach????!!!!!) Everybody!.....bring out your sunglasses!!

That sunless tanning stuff is getting better than it used to be, that's for sure. The 'micromist' from Neutragena works pretty well (though contrary to advertising you still have to rub it in). And that 'bronzing' mousse is pretty cool too because you can see where you put it. Definitely a step above that nasty Estee Lauder sunless tanner Heather and I tried to use once before a wedding! We were both nicely orange ans streaky in our flowered dresses...LOL!
As for the tanning bed, it is SO great for arthritic knees(like mine) but I guess the risk of skin cancer outweighs the benefits...heh heh.
Spring Break???? Didn't you just get off Winter Break??

I used to really love that gradual tanning "everyday glow something or other" lotion made by Jergens. I'm so pasty that any amount of color tends to look fake on me, especially if it just shows up one day (without a few dozen more freckles to boot)...But that stuff is nice cuz it builds up and looks really natural...even on me!! I hope I'm not truly allergic to it. That would be so sad :( . I seriously used that stuff like a beast last Summer!
And yeah Aaron, that's the beaut of college, I've found. They give you breaks for pretty much anything. It's pretty sweet! This one is only a week however.
A little group. It's on the beach! And a certain hot toddy I've heard is a speciality there.

Har har har.... Hmmm... lying on the beach with a hot toddy baking my white self with uv rays.... Sounds delightful. :) Florida.............. Girls Gone Wild Spring yadda yadda. You're dang hysterical! lol
