07/08 Random Smile List

2007

1. Lucero was the last band I saw in 07' and the first in 08'. Yippee! Love them. That was one heck of a fun concert.

2. Getting a B in my dreadfully tough Anatomy and Physiology 2 class. And....whipping out the truth to the entire class including the professor when I kept getting evolution slapped in my face. Boo ya! Oh, and not barfing while dissecting kitty. :(

3. The Thursday night meeting September 21st when Tommy announced a number and asked if it meant anything to anyone and then told us it would to dad because it was his new pioneer number. Then came mom's announcement......followed by Tina's.....and ending with mine. Tommy was so sneaky sneaky not telling us beforehand.

4. The Spencer's bringing over all manner of goodies for our house from theirs when my foot was broken. This included a corner cabinet and Ficus tree. Not only do they give us these, but deliver them! Service with a smile too. :)

5. Standing up for myself, sticking to my guns, and keeping my pride intact on one very important and hard occasion.....and not fainting.....

6. The burnt orange mums that mom got me when I broke my foot.

7. Working our cans off at the Assembly Hall and having my eyes opened to what will really make me happy. And all of the people that we have met because of it-YIPPEE!

8. The fam's first official quickbuild together.....even though I was on crutches. And then getting our assignments.

9. Getting to be at Music Fest with Kaetlyn, having her stay at our house, and the thoughts of her loving my eyeliner and using it every day.

10. Going to an Elvis concert! Ok, well almost..... He was the closest thing to Elvis I've ever seen or heard. (James Aaron Kelley)

11. My wonderful Florida vacation

12. Buying myself an iPod of my own!! Whoo hoo!

13. Tina getting happy again...sigh....

14. Being on our own for a whole year......How did this happen? :)

15. Getting Mr. Brister, Fizgig, Lil' Peanut, my dog. He's one big dopey baby. And I do mean big.

16. Granpa coming to mom and dad's almost every day since granny died. I've come to really look forward to him being there. Love that man.



2008

1. 1-11 Pioneer Day. Whoa nelly, I forgot how incredible those meetings were. I never want to stop.

2. 1-3 Getting my boot off. I've not made it in to heels yet, but I am wearing two, count em' two, shoes!! Yay!

3. Seeing the Foo Fighters again....for free. Oh, but then we had to pay all that money for parking...oh wait, no it was free too. Well, at least the only thing I had to buy was a beer and a pretzel. Never mind, that was free too. Thanks!! Yessssssssssssss.

4. Getting our treadmill. And getting it for not $190 as it was marked, but $156. I love that thing!....And that Tina and I are using it.

5. Tina paying off her credit cards. Sweeeeeeeet!

6. The Tigers being number 1!..and staying there!! Yay!!!!!

7. Turning in my application for nursing school and my letter that explains why I want in the program. It was weighing on me like a pink elephant, and by golly it just felt wonderful to turn the thing in just imagining that I might get in.

and finally:

8. 2-1 Drinking an AB as I'm filling the rest of this out. That makes any day a good day!
