My Cast.My Cast.My Cast Has Been Fired.

Here are some of the shots I got of my cast signatures. It ended up being 45 strong. :)
Ok, I just got back from the Orthopaedic surgeon and he cut off my cast! A witness guy we know put it on and he was the one who cut if off today too. He told me that it would really tickle but uh, I had no idea how true those words would be as he started sawin'. Holy. Schnikees. I laughed out loud and kept apologizing to him but he just laughed at me. And I'm not even ticklish!(Mostly) I can't imagine how bad Tina would be.....And as he's cutting it off he's telling me the horror story of what it's gonna look like and how it's gonna be absolutely covered in dead skin and horrible looking. I'm terrified. But once he cuts it off, it's surprisingly "smoove" lookin and he even commented on how flaky free it was. "Why sank you doctah!" The leg hair growth was indeed frightening as suspected. But it was in the weird patches that mine and Tina's leg hair grows in cuz of our "Ingine" heritage. The foot is a lot smaller than the other and still really blue and beat up looking. And I am now restrained in the boot that must stay on at all times. Let's have a moment of silence for my cast. Ok, I'm over it now. Ha. I hated that dang thing! But no, the other foot is not broken Heddo. Thank. The. Lord. And we DID just talk about that! I would have died. But I have to wear this great super lace up dominatrixy loooking ankle brace. So I am looking like some hot stuff is what I'm basically trying to convey here. I took a ton of pictures of my cast before my appointment today that I will post later. I have another appointment in two weeks on the same day I have opted to take the NLN for entrance in to the nursing program. Is this a bad choice? Am I perhaps packing too much in to my crippled little day?? Maybe so...but that's how I hobble................

Um, this would be Aaron's reaction to seeing my foot out of my cast for the first time. What a friend. Haha
